2PuntosPlatform hosted a focus group with some Latine mothers.

2PuntosPlatform hosted a focus group with Latine parents to discuss the city’s education system. We learned that parents have noticed striking differences between the schools in Latin American countries and schools in the United States. Some of the differences include different emphases on values, teaching methods, and grade placements. In addition, parents shared that they still have to overcome obstacles like language barriers and discrimination when they try to get involved in their children’s education.

Recuerda que sin importar lo que pase, participar activamente en la educación de tus hijos, vale la pena!
