Cristina Escobar

University lecturer in the Global Studies Program and the Anthropology, Sociology, and Criminal Justice Department at Rutgers University, where she teaches classes on global migration, global studies, migration and families, race and ethnicity in Latin America.  She does research on international migration, citizenship and political participation,  and Latin America and Latines in the U.S. In addition to Rutgers University, she has taught classes and done research at various universities, including Temple University, Franklin & Marshall, Princeton, and Westchester University.
