VozColectiva, our first community newsroom.

VozColectiva community newsroom is a space for women from Philadelphia’s Latine community to share and amplify their voices on issues affecting them. Our community reporters include entrepreneurs Zulma Guzman, Mercy Mosquera, Tannia Solis, and Evelyn Toriz, who identify problems facing Latinas in the city and propose solutions to them. 

Since the newsroom’s inception in 2023, the priority has been covering domestic violence and prevention methods. The newsroom produces a monthly program on YouTube and collaborates with local organizations to produce informative materials about domestic violence resources and in 2023 won the LION Publishers Award Product of the Year.
